Dr Rebekah Eglinton - Consultant Clinical Psychologist

I’m a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience in mental health, most recently serving as Chief Psychologist and Head of Support and Safeguarding at the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA).

I specialise in trauma informed practice, helping organisations improve how they engage with people affected by trauma. I offer expert consultancy, bespoke training, and supervision to build systems that promote engagement, reduce retraumatisation, and support staff wellbeing.

I serve as a Registrant Council Member/Non-Executive Director at the Health and Care Professions Council, where I am also a member of the Education and Training Committee. I am a member of the British Psychological Society and sit on the Faculty of Leadership and Management's Committee. I am an Honorary Fellow at the University of Essex and newly appointed Associate Non Executive Director at Devon Partnership Trust.
