I am passionate about ensuring we have the right knowledge and skills to uphold our safeguarding duties, and the opportunity to sit with the grey areas and tensions of decision making. I find that many standard refresher courses, whilst important, can't address the real-life challenges professionals face, especially within therapeutic relationships.
To address this, I developed a safeguarding training specifically for psychological professionals. I work with other experts to offer a multidisciplinary approach that covers the latest legal updates and creates space to explore complex grey areas.
Building on the success of our trauma-informed safeguarding webinars, we’re launching an interactive online case discussion workshop.
This session offers a chance to explore complex safeguarding scenarios involving both adults and children. Using real-world case vignettes, we’ll dive into practical application through small breakout groups and whole-group discussions. Places are limited to enable more connection and deeper discussion.
A Consultant Social Worker with over 30 years’ cross-sector experience will join us to offer expert insight. Bring your questions and join the conversation!
While generic safeguarding training plays a vital role, we need to take this knowledge and translate principles into effective practice within specific service settings. Our tailored, multidisciplinary training bridges this implementation gap by adapting best practices to fit your organisation’s unique context. We explore how organisational culture influences safeguarding effectiveness and clearly define the safeguarding responsibilities of every staff member.
Our training integrates perspectives from psychology, social work and the Police, providing practical, well-rounded guidance grounded in real-world experience.
